My second favorite beauty item (mascara being the first) is highlighter. A highlighter can completely transform your face. Even if you have perfectly done your foundation, eyes, and lips you can still be left looking pretty flat. Highlighter can really help create depth to your face and your best features jump out. Merle Norman Liquid Shimmer in Anything Glows. is a beautiful liquid highlighter that will look good on anyone.
“Designed for daily wear, this light reflecting liquid beautifully highlights the face with advanced HD pigment technology. Created with a signature blend of micronized pigments, it enhances and complements all skin tones. These iridescent pigments are also multi-dimensional to naturally catch and reflect light. Further enhanced with Apple Extract Complex, which helps make this formula smooth as silk. It can be mixed with any foundation for soft, all-over radiance, or used to highlight specific areas such as brow bones, cheekbones, bridge of nose or wherever you want a light catching accent. Fragrance-free. Oil-free.” – Merle Norman
Another thing that I love to do with liquid highlighters is add them into foundations for a truly dewy complexion. It is oil free so if you need and are using a fairly matte foundation this won’t make it stick off your face.
Anything Glows is long lasting. It doesn’t rub or run off your face. As soon as it is in place it doesn’t move. It has an iridescent glow and looks as though it may still be liquid but it sets entirely.
Below is a dot (on right) and a swatch (on left). You can see how the iridescent gleam picks up all of the peaks of my hand, you can tell that it isn’t one flat surface. This product is awesome to put on the cheek bones, bridge of your nose, brow, and the cupids bow. I also like to apply this in the center of my lips over a lipstick to add a plump look.
