Laura Mercier Creme Eye Liner: Indigo and Espresso

I am an eyeliner fanatic.  I can't tell you how many liners I actually have in my stash... Most are probably unopened back ups.  It is the one thing that I always feel the need to have more and more of... I recently discovered the Laura Mercier Creme Eye Liners and I have the shades Indigo and Espresso to show!

"An ultra-smooth, water-proof creamy eye liner that applies with the ease and smooth silky finish of a gel and the precision of a liquid liner. Smudge and transfer-resistant, this long-wearing formula goes on “foolproof” with the Laura Mercier Angled Eye Liner Brush."

The packaging is all very classic of Laura Mercier.  The outer packaging is in the flat grey/beige boxing and the product itself is in glass pots with the pretty purple/brown lids.

When I think of the perfect creme/gel liner, I think of: great saturation of color, smooth texture, and longevity of wear.  The creme eye liner from Laura Mercier is all of those things.  It is nice and smooth in texture and allows for plenty of "play time" so you can perfect the look that you are going for before it dries down into it's waterproof finish.

As you can see from the finger swatches, WOW!  That is one swirl of my sanitized finger in the pot.  AWESOME pigmentation.  It delivers immediate color impact and intensity.  It is smudge-proof, transfer-proof, and crease-proof as well.

And it dries down perfectly into a semi-matte, non-oily finish with full-coverage color.  It seems that these are great liners but could easily double for great creme eyeshadows.

Laura Mercier Creme Eye Liners retail for $22 each for .12 oz of product.  I give these liners 10 out of 5 stars.  I filmed a video using the blue liner this morning, so be on the lookout for that soon.

Have you ever tried any of Laura Mercier's line of eye products?  This spring is going to be all about the eyes, so definitely try some!

  2. I'm REALLY excited that Laura Mercier came out with creme liner! And the pigmentation looks amazing. 10 out of 5 stars is an impressive rating. I'm assuming they're long wearing and stay put? $22 is more than I usually spend on eyeliner but that Indigo shade is SO pretty, I might have to splurge.
