I have recently been using an abundance of hot tools to style my hair. I loved another curling wand by Remington so much that I decided to pick up this Keratin Therapy 1 1/2″ Curling Wand.
This one was everything I was originally looking for when I picked up the T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Curling Wand but it simply wasn’t released at the time. It has a full sized barrel (not one that went from a small size to large size). It is larger in size at 1 1/2″; this will create big flowing curls. The controls are easy to use… it seemed perfect.
The picture blow shows you how simple this is to control. No question in how to work this what-so-ever.
Well, I have to say that I am not impressed by this one at all… It doesn’t really curl my hair that well. I am left with hair that looks like I have done nothing to it. I even used curl setting spray to lock in a curl but it all just fell flat. Some would say that it could be my hair type: long, silky, only slightly wavy… But I am going to disagree. The other iron curls my hair, and even without product to lock it into place the curls last all day.
This curling wand retails for $29.99 anywhere that carries Remington styling tools. Overall I am giving this curling wand two thumbs down. In fact… I am so disappointed by it that I may even return it (as long as the store allows it). I do not recommend this iron. If you have it and it works, please tell me your hair type and what you do specifically to make it work in the comments below!
