It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush in Je Ne Sais Quoi
Now that the end of summer is here our lips are dried out from the sun and heat, but guess what? Here comes the colder months... Now you can look forward to chapped, cracked lips that STILL need moisture! We can never win, can we? Luckily I am glad that I found the It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush in Je Ne Sais Quoi.
First off, let me talk about the beautiful tube it comes in. It is a beautiful silver tube and the name of the company is on the side in black font. What I love the most is the accent of pink. I am a to-the-core girly girl and that small touch of pink just makes it insta-pretty!
The bullet of this lip product actually appears to be a nice clear balm type of product, which may leave you confused because the name of the product is Vitality Lip FLUSH. You are probably thinking, "How will my lips get a flush from that color... it is see through!" You are actually wrong about that!
Je Ne Sais Quoi is actually a pretty shade of pink. I don't THINK that this is marketed as a shade that changes on everyone but it honestly does. I put it on my hand and it looks a light pink color. I put it on my lips and it turned into a sort of hot pink color. Intrigued with this idea of color changing effect my husband agreed to let me put it on him and it literally looked like a clear balm on him. I think it works off of the natural color of your lip, so depending on that you may experience a slight variation in tone.
The Vitality Lip Flush is one product that does the job of four. It is a long-wear lipstick, anti-aging lip balm, ultra-hydrating light gloss, and a lip stain.
As a long-wear lipstick I think it does a good job. When I apply this it stays on for a couple hours without me needing to reapply, and that could have something to do with the lip stain aspect of it. It is a light color but the color is still stained onto my lips well after the product has worn off. Also, in my experience stains tend to dry out my lips and cause them to flake, but this one keeps them shiny and moisturized.
The finish of the product is semi-glossy: more than a lipstick and less than a lip gloss. I tend to go for glosses or balms more than I go for lipsticks anyway because they are less fussy. On to the balm aspect: perfect 10!
