Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Conditioner Review & Sweepstakes

Day in and day out I cause a lot of damage to my hair… be it staying out in the sun too long, blow drying my hair, using hot tools such as conical wands and flat irons…  It is amazing that I have any length to my hair what-so ever.  You really need a good conditioner as well as do treatments on your hair and with Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Conditioner you get a conditioner and a treatment in one.
This conditioner is formulated with patented micro moisture serum and fiber actives.  It claims to internally reconstruct the hair and prevent split ends and breakage all while not weighing your hair down.  They believe your hair can be damaged just as much on the inside as it is on the outside so they want to be able to target both problems to come up with the solution.  So does it leave my hair feeling strengthened and resilient from root to tip?
Personal Experience:
I think so…  After using this I towel my hair dry a bit and then run a comb through to work any tangles out.  I honestly don’t encounter many tangles, if any at all.  This leaves my hair feeling hydrated and silky smooth and when I tug on my hair using my brush I can say that I feel my hair pull a bit but not break… almost like it is pulling back!  That is what I call resilience.
I would also like to say that it smells wonderful… and it is the kind of scent that lingers for a while.  The first time I used this I was at work around 6 hours later and I turned my head to talk to someone and I could a whiff of my hair and was just in awe.  I use some very expensive hair care products on the regular and I almost never catch a whiff of them throughout the day!  Kudos, Dove!
And to go into detail on the claims of not weighing your hair down… I think that it is true.  I have looong hair.  It is nearly impossibly for me to not have my hair feel weighed down.  I do everything I can to create volume and such.  The Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Conditioner really had my hair looking soft, silky, hydrated, and best of all weightless.  My hair bounced a bit more, pieces of the shortest layers in my hair shifted around my face like never before in some of the most playful and cute ways possible.
