Neutral eyeshadows are a must for every collection, even those that prefer bright shades. Everyone is going to have an occasion to wear a neutral eye. Even if you never wear a neutral eye, chances are you may want some neutrals to blend or deepen colors. The colors in the Want You To Want Me palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday 2012 collection are gorgeous and inspired by the glam looks of the 1970’s.
The eye set comes with a sleeve over it that is pretty and decorative. You remove the sleeve to find a velvet clutch-like case. There is a buckle on the bottom that has a metal emblem with Anastasia’s branding.
You open the clutch-like box and find a complete eye set. There is a small dual sided brush, liquid liner, clear brow gel in mini form, and a velvet eyeshadow palette. I have already worn all of the contents in this kit and I have enjoyed it so much. I will be featuring some looks I created with the kit soon, so be on the lookout for that. A surprise stand out in the palette is actually the liquid liner. I typically don’t like liquid liners but I wore it today and it stayed on all day, didn’t smudge and was perfect!
When you pop the palette itself out you can see the name of the eyeshadows are actually printed onto the case underneath.
There are 9 shades altogether ranging from light to dark in matte and shimmer formulas.
There is a champagne and plum theme running through the palette with some completely neutral tones to anchor the palette.

Here is the entire palette swatched side by side. They are grouped together in their rows (first 3 swatches are first row and so on).

Overall I really enjoyed the entire kit. The eyeshadows are silky soft and very blendable. The clear brow gel is a long time favorite and the eyelienr is just amazing. If I had to pick a favorite shade I would hands down pick Power Ballad! Hellooooooooooo beautiful taupe, don’t mind if I do!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Want You To Want Me eye kit will retail for crazily affordable price of $34 and be available at Sephora.com for the holidays. The release date is unknown but I will update you as soon as I know. This palette pairs wonderfully with the lip set called Kisses On My List Volume 2.
What is your favorite shade in the palette?
