Minerals Mate Review and GIVEAWAY

Minerals Mate Application and Mixing Tray is an awesome palette used to mix, foil, store your mineral makeup (as well as other types of makeup).  One of mineral makeup users' biggest complains is the mess.  You have to open the jar and pour it into the lid and swirl and it can all become a big mess.  This handy tray helps with that.  

These trays come in two colors: Double Platinum (black) and Red at Play (red and white). 

On the back of the packaging it gives you some great ideas on using the palette.  

The sticker on the side of the packaging allows you to see what the palette color is on the inside.  

The bottom middle of the tray has a sturdy ripped texture to use as a thumb grip and it can also double as a scrubbing surface to clean your brushes.  

I would like to say that my tray here looks a little dusty and that is because it is.  I took it right out of the packaging and started snapping photos.  I will chock the dust up to it being in covered in a protective packaging and being black (the color just shows everything).  It is easily cleaned with soap and water so no worries there.  But just look at how awesome and innovative this tray is!!!  The smaller wells are PERFECT for foiling (wetting) my mineral eyeshadows as well as any pigments.  These wells are also be great for mixing lipgloss and lipstick to customize your own shade.  

I am a person that can never find the "perfect shade" of foundation whether it be mineral, powder or liquid.  I am always mixing shades to find my perfect shade.  The larger compartments are perfect for mixing a little bit of this and that until you have perfected it.  What is even nicer is that all the excess product you mixed in these wells hasn't gone to waste when you have gotten out the amount you need for one application.  Just pop the cap back on the well and it will be ready for you the next time you need it.
