Tarte Exposed vs NARS Douceur

Today I wanted to put out a comparison of these two blushes because before I actually purchased it myself, I wanted to see comparison swatches of the two.  I found that pretty hard to do.  People would tell me it was similar or different but no one actually had pictures to prove it.  I, for one, am a visual person.  I need to see it with my own eyes.  YES I could have gotten my tush down to Sephora and compared the two, but I just don't go to the mall that often.  I prefer to do my shopping from home (or swapping)!

Tarte describes Exposed as being a Nude and they don't go much further into the color description than that.  In my opinion it is much more than any old nude color--it is a beautiful rosy pink with a hint of brown.  The flush that this gives your cheeks is just stunning.

Nars describes Douceur as a "Soft pink-brown" and their color description is PERFECT.  I couldn't add or take anyway any descriptive words.  I am not sure why this finger swatch came off peachy.  It is much darker in real life.

Comparing the 2 side by side, they almost look the same color one is just a tad darker than the other.  They both go on the cheek beautifully and they both blend like a dream.  I do think they very similar but different enough (in my opinion) to own both.  

I hope you found this compare and contrast post helpful.  Swatches are what make me more comfortable with online purchases and if I have helped just one person make up their mind on a purchase then I have done my job! <3
