Removing Glitter Polish

Hello beauties!!! I am doing this post from my cell phone. I downloaded the new blogger app from iTunes and I decided to give it a shot. No telling what it will turn out to look like--if it doesn't seem close to the same as what my posts usually look like, I will likely not use it again.

Anyway!!! Today I wanted to talk about removing glitter nail polish. Glitter polish is notoriously irritating to remove. I was complaining about removing glitter polish a week or two ago and a friend pointed out an awesome method. I immediately put it into action.

FIRST-- The things you will need are: nail polish remover, 10 cotton pads or cotton balls, and 10 strips of tin foil. The foil should be strips of 2" x 3-4".

SECOND-- Soak a cotton pad/ball in remover and place it over the nail.

THIRD-- Wrap the nail (cotton and all) with a strip of tin foil. Wrap it as tightly as possible and make sure to twist the ends tight so no air can seep in. This is really the key because the reason why just cotton soaked in remover doesnt usually cut it is because it can dry out before it has fully done the job. With the tin foil making the cotton air tight it can really soak off the glitter polish.

FINAL STEP-- After waiting 3-5 minutes with your nails wrapped up like a tin foil burrito slowly remove the tin foil by twisting it off.

I am astonished at how simple, yet über awesome this method is to execute. Also you look like a REALLY cool person for 5 minutes with your tin foil fingers. LOL :P

  6. To remove glitter polish I found using pure Acetone from Walmart works well and takes around 30 seconds not even.
Most drugstores do not sell just acetone, but Walmart has it in a 1liter bottle for $3!!

Also the Walmart no scent nail polish remover is good, but not as good.

And for regular remover Mavala has some amazing ones.

Hope you have the time to check out my blog and subscribe.
