OPI It's My Year

OPI recently released a Miss Universe collection consisting of four colors.  The only one that really stood out to me was the It's My Year polish.  It is quite breath-taking and I snagged it on ebay.  I actually purchased it on Amazon about two months ago and have only just now done a manicure with it.  *hangs head*  I do love it but there were other polishes that I wanted to get to first.  

When I first got it at home I literally sat and twirled the bottle in the sunlight because it is sooo pretty.  It is gold shimmer in a purple jelly base.  It goes on the nail very easily and is not goopy at all.  It only took two coats for optimal opacity.  I went out to dinner last night and the waitress asked me what was on my nails! >:o) I love glittery sprackley things! (Yes, I know I misspelled sparkly.  It is kind of my thing.)

These pictures were taken in a hurry therefore I didn't clean my cuticles.  Sorry :/  The picture below is from a  friend from high school who is currently living in Hong Kong.  She posted it to Facebook and I found it in the news feed and it IMMEDIATELY reminded me of this polish... So maybe it is really her year! :)
