Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat

I have always had poor brittle nails and I stumbled across what I like to call a "Miracle Product" while I was at Sally's Beauty Supply a couple months back.  It is the Gelous gel coat.  I use it in conjunction with a few other products and it has really improved the look and the health of my nails.

This is marketed as a base coat but I like to use it as both base and topcoat.  As a basecoat it helps to prevent the staining of the nails from other polishes and it is a great nail hardener.  I have nails that peel and this has helped me with that issue as well.  As a topcoat it works well to seal in the layers of polish beneath it and leave a high shine finish.  

My favorite fact about Gelous is that it was less than $5.  That is almost half of what I paid for Seche Vite (which I have bought several bottles of overtime.)  Gelous does everything I want it to do and a little more.  I can give it most of the credit for my newly found interest in nail polish in general.
