Gel Eyeliner

I was recently asked, "What makeup product has changed your life?"  I have a flare for the dramatics so this question was right up my alley.  Of course there are makeup products that have changed my life!  haha  The biggest victory in makeup for me was the day I discovered gel liners.

I have extremely oily eyelids, and well, I suppose the whole area around my eye--not just my lids.  I have always been on the hunt for an eyeliner that will stay put but never seemed to find it.  Whatever I tried always ended up a streaky smeared mess on the sides of my eyes.  

I can't remember what made me decide to try it but I picked up one from the drugstore one day by L'Oreal HIP.  I applied it and it really, really lasted on me all day and never moved.  I was shocked.  

I then started venturing into the idea of lining my waterline and tightlining with the liner because I had seen other people online claiming that is what they used.  I tried the L'Oreal on my waterline and my eyes swole up and turned red and I vowed to find another brand of gel liner.  I then tried MAC Blacktrack.  VOILA! I can now apply the liner to my waterline and have it last all day.  I then started buying gel liners from all brands.  Truly great stuff.  I advise you to try it if you have not.
