Chanel Fauve

Sooo... I have had so much anticipation build-up for the release of this color.  You all know how much I looooove my taupes and this is Chanel's newest taupe.  Fauve is a gorgeous purple-toned taupe.  Like all shades in this family, it is hard to photograph it's complexity.  I took many pictures to try to capture it's beauty. :)

When I went into the mall today to purchase this I was wearing no eye makeup except mascara.  I went to my son's Kindergarten orientation and went for a simple look.  The SA at the Chanel counter applied the color for me! :D  I can not explain why I look so shiny! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh well.  

Anyway, the SA I had at the Chanel counter today was amazing.  She was super nice (which is NEVER the case at my local counter) and talented and knowledgable... Not to mention totally gorgeous! :)  Anyway, she color-matched me for Vitalumiere Aqua.  Turns out that I am not a B20, I am a B40.  BIIIG difference.  It goes to show you how much attention I got last time I was at the counter.  There is no way I jumped that far up the color scale from self-tanning.  Oh well!  *rolls eyes*  The SA also loaded me down with awesome samples.  She gave me quite a few samples of the foundation she matched me to as well as other things from Chanel.  She then gave me a makeup bag fillllled with other samples from various counters in the store.  I love her! I want to marry her (as my SA).  I will forever look for her in the future.  

Aren't they awesome???  *Jumps and clicks heels* I am so happy with my new Chanel counter lady! I am more than likely going to be purchasing a lot more Chanel in my future! YAYYY!
