Behind the Scenes Products

What do I mean by behind the scenes products?  The products that I am talking about are the unsung heroes of your beauty routine!!! I mean those products that you use everyday that add to your overall appearance that you don’t think about and probably would never really talk about.
I was brushing my teeth days ago and thought that I needed to tell you guys that I liked my toothpaste but then thought, “Well that is weird, why would I talk about that?” and then I thought, “Why NOT talk about it?” (YES, I was having an entire conversation with myself in my head!)
It is amazing the things we take for granted in our normal routine.  Without these products I know that I would be but a fraction of my normal self!
Sorry for the iPhone picture, my lap top is on the fritz!
Supersmile
I have been using this for a few weeks now and I have seen a slight difference in the whiteness of my teeth.  I like that this product tastes good while it is whitening.  It can be used on dentures as well as natural teeth.  I think this works better than any other teeth whitening toothpaste I have ever tried.
Plackers Flossers
I don’t know about you guys but I HATE flossing.  First you have to pull the string out of the little container and then maneuver it all around your mouth and it just gets gross to be honest.  I love these little do-dads because it is simple, clean, and easy to use.  You can get into the most awkward corners of your mouth with these bad boys!!!
Xen Tan
I have several of these little 1 oz. bottles.  I keep meaning to purchase a big one but then another little deluxe sample keeps popping up here and there.  I have really used these to extend the life of my tan.  They smell awesome and look very realistic.  I haven’t had any of the self-tanner-hands either.  I am very careful to wash directly after application though.
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads
I got these in the Test Tube back in the spring and fell in love with these.  They are fantastic.  I use these on my face, neck and chest.  They don’t streak and give a healthy appearance.  Because I use lots of SPF on my face when out in the sun my body and face don’t typically match, so this product is key to making my face match.  (The color also blends in nicely with the Xen Tan.)
Lavanila Vanilla Coconut deodorant
This product smells sooo good!  AND it does what it claims.  It is all natural so that puts to rest my insane paranoia about the aluminum that is supposedly in most deodorants.  I have no idea if this is actually true and I have done no research but when I was a teen someone told me that aluminum is in your deodorant and it leads to Alzheimer’s.

LUSH Dream Cream
This has been a staple for a couple years for me.  I love this stuff.  Very thick and moisturizing but at the same time it sinks into your skin right away and leaves that healthy skin look behind.  I had my share of sunburns over the summer and this definitely helped heal them faster.

Flea Market FOTD

These pictures were taken on Sunday.  I went to the flea market with my friend and my son.  It was super hot so we didn’t stay very long but we did manage to pick up some candles.  The ones I got are called: Jamaica Me Crazy, Pomegranate, Cast A Way, and Shalimar!  Yep, Shalimar smells exactly like the perfume of the same name.  I had to get it when I saw it.
Since it was a casual day, I wanted to be lazy with my makeup and stylings.  I let my hair air dry and sprayed the Redken Radiant Sea Spray and I twirled a conical wand very messily throw the top layers of my hair.  Here is the look…
